Parnell to rotation?

The latest news out of Bailout Citi Field is that the Mets are apparently thinking of using Bobby Parnell as a starter. I think this is extremely foolish. Last year as a starter, in AA Binghamton, Bobby Parnell had a translated 6.02 DERA (average is 4.5, replacement level is 5.75). He had a 5.42 untranslated tRA. Don't like these stats? He had a 4.30 ERA, unadjusted. This year, out of the pen he has been pretty good. He has a 3.75 tRA, and throws a pretty quick fastball. Don't move him. I'd rather see Figgy or Brad Holt pitch in the majors.
