Bullpen fail. Lose 12-7, F/10

Uh, Omar I thought you fixed the bullpen. You know, that thing that screwed us up so much last year. Yeah, the one that blew 27 saves, and had 26 blown saves? You did? Well, the bullpen which you spent so much on blew it yesterday. K-Rod blew the save. He has had 2 save opportunities since the break, and blew it. Nice. Real nice. We struggle to get a win, we score 7 runs against Joe Pineiro (certified Mets killer), but you blow it. Santana gave up 5 in 8 innings, and his velocity was down (worrying) but he had the lead. And you losers blew it. Then, in the tenth, Stokes gets one out on one pitch. The next batter is Rick Ankiel, a lefty who this year posts a .239/.296/.442 line vs righties and a .257/.295/.338 against lefties. Not much difference. Keep in Stokes. But, no. Jerry tries to out La Russa La Russa and brings in Feliciano. Who gives up a grounder that Cora (playing second cause Castillo sprained his ankle walking down the dugout steps---I'm serious) messes up the throw on. Lugo then singles. Rasmus (a lefty!!) walks. Schumaker strikes out. And then, Jerry goes to the right hander against DeRosa. That right hander is Sean Green. Who sucked a couple of nights ago with a hit batter, walk and wild pitch. With the bases loaded. First pitch: Hit's DeRosa. 8-7. Then, goes 0-2 on Pujols before serving up a grand slam. 12-7. Nicely done Green. Stokes should've been kept in. He threw one pitch. Alright, lefties are .311/.402/.448 against him, but there were 3 lefties. 2 of which (against the lefty specialist, Feliciano) got on. Against righties, Stokes is one of the best on the team, in fact the best among active pitchers on the team. Righties are .220/.279/.360. They're pitiful against him. Against Sean Green, they are .262/.331/.383. Right handed batters are league average against Sean Green. Against Stokes, they become Wilson Valdez. And Jerry, you blew it, K-Rod blew it, and Sean Green sucks.
Stupid Decision of the Day: Jerry micromanagment bringing in Feliciano, (who was not that good) and Green. Excellent. Oh yeah, Feliciano's era goes up because of Green. This is a good ERA system. They're should be a system that shares runs.
Random Thought of the Day: I don't want to see Angel Berroa. He is to fielding as Jeremy Reed is to hitting. Where is Nick Evans? I'm tired of having both Reed and Sullivan.
Clutch Play of the Day:Sheff 2 run double in the fifth. +25.2% WPA.
Up Next for the Mets: Finish out the 2 game series. 12:10 ET
Jonathon Niese (1-1 4.50 ERA, 3.28 FIP, 4.95 tRA)
Kyle Lohse (4-6 4.14 ERA, 4.33 FIP, 4.89 tRA)
