Lose Again, 7-4

I didn't stay up to pay attention to this game. And I'm glad I didn't, because sleeping is much better than watching the Mets fail again. Mike Pelfrey went 6 innings, and gave up 5 runs and all oif them were earned. Apparently there was horrible defense, (they commited 2 errors) and Pelf suffered. But yeah, it's September one month early. The Mets have dropped 9 of 12, play that last surfaced in September of '07 (sorry everyone for reminding that). But I mean, that is no reason not to go to Citi Field and watch the Mets. Because they are slashing ticket prices (about time). But hey, you can see Anderson Hernandez (2/3 walk, rbi yesterday), who as a Met has more walks than Francoeur has. You can see Fernando Tatis (triple yesterday), Luis Castillo (2/4, walk run), David Wright (1/3 run, walk), Francoeur (1/4), and Angel Pagan (1/5, rbi). You can see Livan Hernandez play third base and bat clean up. Or you can see Elmer Dessens give up 2 runs in 2 innings. But you know, when Gary Cohen starts a countdown, you know the season is over.
Stupid Decision of the Day: The Mets thinking they can play baseball. Because, they might be better sending out the A Cyclones, to field. (They could be better than Tatis)
Random Thought of the Day: Nick Evans Nick Evans Nick Evans. I want Nick Evans.
Clutch Play of the Game: Tatis Triple in fourth. +15.9% WPA
Up Next: Game 2. 9:40 ET
Livan Hernandez (7-6 5.08 ERA, 4.68 FIP, 5.78 tRA)
Max Scherzer (6-6 4.01 ERA, 3.45 FIP, 3.31 tRA)
