?????
11-0. We lost 11-0. We got 2 hits, and from what it looks like, Sheff hurt his hamstring. Because its the Mets medical staff, he'll be out for the rest of the year. But seriously? 11-0. That was just embarrassing. Pelfrey continues to be an up and down pitcher; he has one good start, one bad, especially recently: good start against Florida (7.2ip, 1 r), bad against Pittsburgh (3.2ip, 9 r), okay against Philly (6ip, 4r,2er), okay against Baltimore (5.2ip,2r), bad against Tampa (5ip, 4r), okay against the yankees (5ip,4r,2er) then great against Milwaukee (7.2ip, 0r), crap against LA (3ip, 5 r, 4er), then good against Cincy (7ip, 3 er) before last nights start. He is not consistent, and that is a problem for the Mets, because then we only have 1 dependable pitcher.
Stupid Decision of the Day
Not forefeiting after 5 innings.
Random thought: How is Tim Redding still a major league pitcher?
Up next: Atlanta, 4:00 on FOX (yay, get humiliated on national TV)
Johan Santana (10-7, 3.09 ERA, 3.81 FIP)
Kenshin Kawakami (5-6, 4.26 ERA, 4.38 FIP)
